On-site observations made this severe weather season in the spring of 2009 for optimum intercept position. Atmospheric data was gathered from 250 to 900 mb heights during this particular storm interception... periods ranging from 4-16 to 4-19, 2009.

This case study focuses on interception at close range within a supercell in an optimum placement for testing equipment. The interception target was identified, Atmosphere diligence was mapped and plotted, and positioning was excellent to gather data.
