HURRICANE FORCE WINDS FUEL CALIFORNIA WILDFIRES- FIRE SEASON OVER FOR 2008

The Southern California region was under flames again as major fires were burning due to low humidity winds gusting at 30 to 70+ mph out of the northeast in the final fire for the southland region. The last round of fires started November 13th. As of December 15th, a major western cold front has dumped major rain in the region ending the fire season in the California region.
